July 1, the founding day of the Communist Party of China, is the anniversary of Hong Kong's return. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return. On July 1, 1997, the President of the People's Republic of China solemnly announced to the world in Hong Kong that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government of the People's Republic of China was established. So this day has also become the anniversary of Hong Kong's return. Hong Kong returned to Asia with a population of 3 billion. In the second half of 1988, the population of Asia reached 3 billion. To this end, the Asian Parliamentarians Forum on Population and Development issued an initiative: to hold the "Asia 3 Billion Population Day" from July 1 to further arouse the public of various countries, enhance population awareness, and take more extensive and positive actions to solve the problem of excessive population growth.
