Kongjiang Reservoir is located in Yazikou Village, Wujing Town, Nanxiong City. The project was completed at the end of 1969. It is a medium-sized reservoir mainly for irrigation, supplemented by flood control, power generation and fish farming. The project hub building consists of 1 main dam, 6 auxiliary dams, spillway, diversion culvert of main dam power station, irrigation culvert and power station. The dam site of the reservoir is located in the upper reaches of Zhenjiang River, a tributary of Beijiang River. The rainwater collection area above the dam site is 79.4 square kilometers, and the river is 23 kilometers long. The normal water level of the reservoir is 195.77 m, corresponding to a storage capacity of 58.25 million cubic meters, and the check water level is 197.35 m (P=0. 1%), corresponding to a storage capacity of 69.43 million cubic meters.

Kongjiang Wetland Park is located in the northeast of Nanxiong City, mainly including Kongjiang Reservoir, upstream and downstream reaches of Kongjiang Reservoir and surrounding areas. The wetland park to be built is an irregular long and narrow corridor running from east to west, with the northernmost section reaching the junction of Nanxiong City and Xinfeng County in Jiangxi Province in the upper reaches of Kongjiang River, and the southernmost section reaching Provincial Highway 342. The scope of wetland park includes Kongjiang Reservoir and a layer of ridgeline or highway around it. When there are residential areas and agricultural land in the highway or the first floor ridge, the mountain road is the boundary. The whole wetland park is about 6.8 kilometers long from east to west and 5.3 kilometers long from north to south, with a planned total area of 1667.9 hectares.

Kongjiang National Wetland Park is known as "Hundred Island Lake". "Baidao Lake" is a large-scale artificial lake formed after the completion of Kongjiang Reservoir, the largest reservoir artificially built by Nanxiong in the 1960s. Because there are 263 "islands" in the library, hundreds of islands in the lake are named after them. There is a large area of Danxia landform around the reservoir, which complements the water environment and is the only scenic spot in Guangdong.
