Meixian County: Building "Four Good Roads" to Boost Traffic Poverty Alleviation

13 in July, Meixian county distributed 172 maintenance vehicles to 86 administrative villages, amounting to more than 700,000 yuan. This is another new measure for Meixian County to establish a national "four good highways" demonstration county and boost traffic poverty alleviation.

In recent years, Meixian county, with the goal of "building, managing, protecting and operating rural roads", has comprehensively promoted the "road length system" of rural roads, increased investment in Datong village highway management and maintenance funds and equipment, boosted traffic poverty alleviation, and comprehensively improved rural road operation services. In the province, the "last mile" project of rural roads entering the village was first implemented. At present, Meixian County is striving for the "Four Good Rural Roads" national demonstration county, with the total mileage of rural roads reaching 1.700 km, achieving the goal of full coverage of cement roads in natural villages and public transportation in administrative villages in the county, and greatly improving the level of equalization of basic public services.

Meixian county gives priority to the employment of poor people in public welfare posts such as rural road maintenance, and has arranged more than 600 poor people. With an investment of 5901.3 million yuan, a 1.5 1 km "poverty alleviation road" was built for 48 poverty-stricken villages in the county. Rural roads were built in front of the mountain, at the door of the house and at the edge of the farm, which opened the last mile for people to travel and produce, and turned the "four good rural roads" into roads to get rich and connect the heart. The centralized and unified distribution of electric vehicles in expressway maintenance work has greatly improved the work efficiency of maintenance personnel and the quality of expressway maintenance.
