How to maintain an excavator in detail

(1) Maintenance levels and items of excavators

The maintenance levels of excavators include maintenance per shift (daily), first-level maintenance (performed every 100 hours of work), second-level maintenance There are 4 levels of first-level maintenance (performed every 400 hours) and third-level maintenance (performed every 1200 hours). In addition, there are special maintenance, such as running-in period maintenance, seasonal maintenance, long-term non-use maintenance, etc. The maintenance levels and maintenance items of the excavator are shown in Table 2-1.

(2) Oil filter maintenance

①The oil filter is a very important component. It can prevent impurities in the oil and gas lines from entering important devices, thereby reducing the occurrence of failures. The oil filter should be replaced regularly as required. When using the excavator under harsh conditions, the replacement cycle should be shortened according to the quality of the diesel (sulfur content) used.

②Do not clean the oil filter (cylindrical) and use it again. The oil filter should be replaced with a new one.

③When replacing the old oil filter, you should check whether there are metal particles, rubber debris, etc. adsorbed on the old filter element. If metal or rubber particles are found, please ask a professional for further inspection and treatment.

④ Before using the oil filter, do not open the box prematurely.

(3) Maintenance of electrical equipment

① If the wires are damp or the insulation is damaged, the electrical system will leak electricity and may cause machine malfunction or other accidents.

② Check the tension, damage and wear of the fan belt, and check the battery electrolyte level.

③Do not disassemble or disassemble any electrical components installed on the machine.

④Fake and inferior electrical components that do not meet the requirements shall not be installed.

⑤ When cleaning the machine or working on rainy days, do not expose the electrical system to water.

⑥When working on the beach, the electrical system should be carefully cleaned to prevent corrosion.

⑦ When installing an air cooler or other electrical equipment, it should be connected to an independent power connector. The selected power source must never be connected to a fuse, starting switch or battery relay.

(4) Maintenance of hydraulic system

During operation and immediately after operation, the temperature of hydraulic oil is still very high. Therefore, special care should be taken when inspecting and maintaining hydraulic systems.

① Place the machine on level ground, lower the bucket to the ground, and then release the pressure in the hydraulic line.

② Let the engine stall and wait until the oil temperature drops before performing maintenance. Even if the oil temperature drops, there is still pressure inside the system. When inspecting and maintaining the hydraulic circuit, in order to release the pressure inside the system, the air should be discharged from the hydraulic tank.

③ Check the hydraulic oil level regularly, replace the oil filter, and add hydraulic oil.

④After disassembling the high-pressure hose, check whether the O-ring or gasket is damaged. If damaged, it should be replaced.

⑤After cleaning or replacing the hydraulic oil filter element and screen, or after disassembling the hydraulic pipeline, the air in the oil line should be discharged.

⑥ There is high-pressure nitrogen in the accumulator. Improper use is quite dangerous. It must be used strictly in accordance with the regulations.
