Let's have a rock climbing competition today, and everyone on the scene can sign up for the competition. So, I signed up without hesitation and was named the second in the children's group.

But at this moment, I flinched. I've never climbed a rock! But there's no turning back, no way back. What shall we do? I looked up at the cliff in front of me. Suddenly, the huge slogan "combination of confidence and courage, strength and skill-rock climbing" caught my eye and inspired my confidence.

Fortunately, the climbing of contestant No.1 gave me a chance to watch it live.

When I heard Wang Yuxiang, the No.2 player, playing, I got up my courage and quickly ran to the rock to check the safety rope. When I was ready, I bravely climbed up.

I'm glad I managed to climb to a third of the height.

Difficulties have arisen. At this time, my right foot is on a rock point, my left foot is suspended, and the next rock point is on the upper right. My right foot is shaking, and my hand grasping the rock above is numb. Ah! When my right foot slipped, I only felt sparks in front of me, and my vest was soaked in cold sweat and was about to fall off the cliff.

Come on, young man, come on! With the encouragement of the audience, I accidentally replaced my right foot with my left foot at the rock point, which ushered in a turning point of continuing to climb upwards.

In this way, I overcame one difficulty after another, successfully climbed to the top of the rock and rang the wind chimes happily.

Amid applause, I held the safety rope in my hand, lit the rock wall with my foot and slipped to the ground easily.

Although I didn't rank in the top three in this climbing competition. However, I am very satisfied that I didn't become a laggard in the first competition.

Challenging my rock climbing exercises my will and courage. In the future, I will experience difficulties in my study like rock climbing.
