How to give relief effect in ps

In Photoshop, you can add a relief effect to a picture by the following steps:

Open the picture to be processed and create a new "layer": click the "New Layer" button in the lower right corner of the Layers panel, or use the shortcut key Shift+Ctrl+N (Windows)/Shift+Command+N (Mac).

Turn a layer into a smart object: select the newly created layer, and then select "Layer" in the menu bar; "Smart Object", which transforms this layer into a smart object for future modification and adjustment.

To apply a filter effect: Select menu bar Filters Stylization Relief to see the Relief dialog box. Here, you can adjust several attribute parameters, including "Angle" (direction) and "Height" (light and shade of relief effect), and make fine adjustments according to your actual needs, so you can get satisfactory results with a little care.

You can add a "blending mode" to get a better effect: on the Layers panel, you can try different blending modes, such as "Overlay" and "Soft Light" to get a more amazing effect.

Adjust brightness and contrast: If the picture is dim after adding the relief effect, you can adjust the "Image"; Adjust the brightness/contrast parameters.

Finally, in order to ensure the quality of the processing results, it is suggested to save the file in the form of "PSD" for editing and modifying again in the future.
