Carpenters and blacksmiths

Carpenter refers to a traditional teacher who can make wood and build ancient buildings. There are not many such people in contemporary China, and they are generally over 50 years old. Blacksmith refers to the master who is now engaged in blacksmith, welder and shed work. Generally, many of these people are under the age of 50, and a considerable number of them are young people.

The blacksmith mentioned here is no longer a blacksmith in the traditional sense.

Two thousand years ago, Zhuangzi and Keiko were always at loggerheads. After Keiko's death, Zhuangzi went to Keiko's grave and cried loudly. His students don't understand and think the teacher should be happy. Zhuangzi told the students the story of "a great craftsman with an axe", and she stopped talking until she died in Zhuangzi 20 years later. The story of "a great craftsman carrying an axe" told by Zhuangzi is a story between a carpenter and a stonemason. At that time, there should be blacksmiths in Zhuangzi, but carpenters didn't have much contact with blacksmiths.

It's different now. There is a blacksmith in my construction site, that is, a welder who works in wrought iron, and another is a carpenter.

I am constantly drawing pictures to combine iron and wood. This combination of appliances not only saves the time-consuming of traditional carpentry, but also gives the cold and stiff modern pure wrought iron a sense of temperature.

Such mutual repulsion does not come from the repulsion between iron and wood, but from the prejudice of blacksmiths and carpenters.

When people can't communicate well, it's a long, long distance.
