Where is Shui Sheng Temple?

Shui Sheng Temple is located in Tazishan Scenic Area on the right bank of Fujiang River in the west of Mianyang City.

Shui Sheng Temple is famous for its holy water in Longquan since ancient times. Formerly known as "Ganquan Temple". Its history can be traced back to the years of Tang Yonghui (650-655 AD), and it has been 1300 years. It can be called one of the ancient temples with a long history in northwest Sichuan.

According to Mianyang County Records, there was an inscription on the Cliff of Chibi in ancient times, saying: The West Cliff of the Famous Mountain Garden, with dragons under the wall, praying for rain. In Tang Yonghui, the name was Ganquan, Fu in Yuan Dynasty and Fu in Ming Dynasty.

The temple was built in the first year of Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1436). It was named after this. Under the cliff behind Guanyin Hall of Shui Sheng Temple, the "Dragon Overlord" still exists, and the clear spring is always full. Shui Sheng Temple, 199 1 was listed as a key temple in Sichuan Province by Mianyang City.

Among the colorful guanyin temple, the statue of Guanyin in Pilu is extremely solemn and exquisite, showing its kindness, which is awe-inspiring. The eyes and gestures of Guanyin Bodhisattva statues with thousands of hands in the Great Compassion Hall are all shining, and the features of compassion and wisdom are vivid, which embodies the characteristics of "perfection" of Buddha and Bodhisattva statues.

Daxiong Hall, an imitation of Qing Dynasty architecture, is located in the center of the hall, with golden tiles on the eaves and carved beams and painted buildings. Solemn and spectacular, there are 32 diamond sutras standing on both sides of the main hall, which gives people a heavy and rich sense of history as a whole.

The three Burmese jade buddhas in the Jade Buddha Hall were donated by overseas Chinese in Myanmar. They are exquisite and smooth in workmanship, serene and wise in manner, elegant in atmosphere in the Buddhist scripture building, ingeniously combined with modern science and technology interior decoration, and the indoor facilities and equipment reach the national professional and technical standards.
