What are the traffic signs?

In many places, such as intersections, sidewalks, overpasses, streets, and highways, you can often see various eye-catching signs. They are red, yellow and blue, round, triangle and square. This is a new traffic sign implemented in China. There are 79 traffic signs. Some countries have reached one or two hundred species. They are used to guide vehicles and pedestrians and traffic safety.

Although there are various traffic signs, they are all designed with reference to the international standards of safety information and have the nature of laws and regulations to make up for the lack of traffic rules. They fall into three categories:

The first category is the ban, which is red and round in shape. On the one hand, the circle means "forbidden" or "forced". On the other hand, when the light is not strong, the circular sign is larger than the triangle or square, which is easy to attract attention. For example, there are vehicles, people and horseheads in the circle, and another diagonal line indicates that these vehicles, people and animals are prohibited from passing; If "Stop" is written, it means that docking is prohibited; If an arrow is drawn, it is forbidden to turn in a certain direction. The second category is instructions. This is to instruct people to do this. Blue is very different from red and more vivid. For example, on the crosswalk, there is a circular blue sign with a white picture on it, which shows an adult holding a child, indicating that the adult should take the child across the road. Draw arrows to indicate going straight or turning in a certain direction, etc.

The third category is warning, which is indicated by yellow "danger". This is like playing football and getting a "yellow card" as a warning; And the warning sign is triangular. Yellow cards are drawn with black borders and black graphics, indicating various dangerous situations. For example, the danger of sharp turns, the danger of descending steep slopes, and the danger of children near the school.

In primary schools in some cities, pupils are required to wear yellow hats, which can attract drivers' attention and slow down when crossing the road at school or after school. The "yellow hat" has also become a special traffic safety sign.
