4 15 Why is the National Safety Education Day?

On July 1 day, 2065438, the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) passed Article 14 of the National Security Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), stipulating that April 15 every year is the National Security Education Day.

NationalSecurityEducationDay (English) is a festival set up to enhance national security awareness and safeguard national security.

April 15, 2023 is the eighth National Safety Education Day. The theme is "implementing the overall national security concept, enhancing the national security awareness and literacy of the whole people, and consolidating the social foundation for ensuring the new development pattern with the new security pattern".

The most important practical significance of establishing National Security Education Day in the National Security Law is to mobilize the government and the whole society to participate in the work of safeguarding national security. Maintaining national security is closely related to everyone's vital interests, and taking people's safety as the purpose is also the core value of the "overall national security concept".
