The establishment of fixed posts for land and sea border militia shall be put forward by the military sub-division according to the needs of combat readiness and reported to the provincial military region for approval. The use of militia to guard bridges, tunnels, warehouses and other important target services shall be applied by the target unit in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state and reported to the provincial military region for approval. The militia is responsible for public security, and the local military leadership and command organ shall report it to the people's government at the same level for approval and report it to the military organ at a higher level for the record. Within the scope of factories and mines, the use of militia is responsible for maintaining social order and protecting production, which is approved by factories and mines and reported to the county people's armed forces department for the record. Article 35 Remuneration or subsidies for militia to perform tasks shall be paid by the employing unit. The barracks, camp furniture, kitchen utensils, communication, lighting, drinking water, vigilance and other facilities required by the militia to guard important targets, as well as the militia's living allowance, duty supplies, necessary cultural supplies, medical care, casualty compensation and other funds, shall be solved by the target unit. Article 36. Preferential treatment, resettlement and pensions for militiamen who died, were wounded in the war, carried out combat missions, participated in military training and maintained social order shall be handled in accordance with relevant state regulations.
