At present, Gaomi City’s daily corn drying capacity reaches more than 6,000 tons, ranking among the top in the province. At the same time, Gaomi City has vigorously implemented the new measure of "keeping grain off the ground" to continuously increase the amount of drying, prevent grain mildew, and reduce grain loss.

Qin Shanxin, deputy director of the Gaomi City Modern Agriculture Development Center, said that Gaomi City is proactive. The province has sought funding for a corn drying subsidy project of 1.5 million yuan, with a subsidy of 40 yuan per ton. Through the implementation of the project, more than 20 drying machines have been put into operation in the city, and more than 30,000 tons of corn have been dried. In the next step, Gaomi City will.
