The existing 1 1 and 26 stone carvings of tombs in the Southern Dynasties are listed as national key cultural relics protection units.

Danyang Southern Dynasties Mausoleum and its stone carvings are recognized as national cultural treasures, and their artistic value can be compared with Yungang Grottoes and Longmen Grottoes in the Northern Wei Dynasty at the same time. Danyang Southern Dynasties Mausoleum Stone Carving Protection Plan has been approved by National Cultural Heritage Administration. According to the planning requirements, the entire Southern Dynasties stone carving scenic area covers an area of 5,000 mu, with a preliminary planning of 3,000 mu. In the scenic area, Danyang Qiliang Cultural Park, Qiliang Cultural Ecological Park, China Stone Carving Art Museum and Qiliang Historical and Cultural Museum are planned and constructed.
