Diary of going to Lanling Vegetable Expo

My parents were going to take me to Shouguang to watch the vegetable expo that day. We set off at seven o'clock. We drove for an hour and a half and arrived at Shouguang, which I have long admired.

There was a huge crowd of people there. We lined up and came to Exhibition Hall No. 1, where I got to know all kinds of southern fruits, including dragon fruit, mango, lychee, and a lot of pineapples. A huge pineapple was so beautiful that my mother immediately took a photo of it for me. Then we visited Exhibition Hall 2, Exhibition Hall 3, and all the way to Exhibition Hall 8. Each exhibition hall has its own characteristics. The fruit trees in the hall are layered in an orderly manner, with abundant fruits and branches hanging on them. Especially in the green corridor of Hall 5, if you are not careful, you will be hit on the head by the loofah above your head. These loofahs are more than 2 meters long. I have never seen such a long loofah. There are also huge pumpkins, one of which I saw from its label weighs 410 pounds. How did it grow?

What’s even more amazing is that we walked to Exhibition Hall 7 and saw a huge tomato tree, which can bear more than 3,000 kilograms of fruit and can bear more than 5,000 cucumbers. We admired and took pictures, and the whole morning passed before we knew it. Today is really an eye-opener for me!
