Wuxi Perth Conservatory of Music and Art was formally approved by Wuxi Education Bureau in 2000. The school hired Jiang Mingdun, the former president of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, as honorary president, and a group of experts and professors from Shanghai Conservatory of Music as teaching consultants. The school teachers are mainly full-time professional teachers who graduated from the Conservatory of Music, and senior teachers from Wuxi music and art circles are employed as part-time teachers.

The school is headquartered in Wuxi Library 12, covering an area of more than 2,000 square meters. There are more than 60 piano rooms, 3 dance rooms with 100 square meters and a multifunctional concert hall with 100 square meters, which can accommodate more than 100 listeners at the same time. The classrooms of the school are decorated according to the teaching requirements of the Conservatory of Music, and each room has air conditioning and ventilation equipment. It is the largest school in Jiangsu Province. The school also opened three branches-pre-school, Sunshine and Yixing. Each branch school has first-class teaching equipment, and the teachers are all professional teachers arranged by the headquarters.

The passing rate of students in our school (over the years) is 98.9%, and the excellent rate is over 30%. In municipal, provincial and even national competitions, there are our students from Perth, Wuxi on the medal list. Some students in our school have been admitted as art specialty students by various colleges and universities, and some have been admitted by professional art colleges such as Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Nanjing Art College. In the annual assessment, many of our teachers were rated as excellent counselors.
