The bloody repression of the reactionary government aroused people's dissatisfaction from all walks of life, and representatives were sent to form a condolence group to express their condolences to the injured and arrested students. Under the pressure of public opinion, the reactionary authorities had to release their classmates who had been hungry for three days. When released, the reactionary authorities insulted the female students in the name of looking for the lost carbine, and the female students Gao Mude (that is, Gao), Chen Yingmian, Yan Jingyi and others were severely beaten.

Everywhere she went, she quickly learned to talk with people in the local dialect and treat the poor with her own medical skills. What she said is very penetrating, especially some gynecological diseases that can't be cured for a long time can be cured by drugs. Therefore, women call her "Living Guanyin".

1927 Ruan Xiaoxian was elected as an alternate member of the Central Inspection Committee of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. After the meeting, he returned to Guangzhou and served as the organization minister of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. At this time, Ruan Xiaoxian's lung disease recurred, and Gao returned to Guangzhou from Nanchang according to the central decision to take care of his lover and mobilize the masses to carry out revolutionary struggle.

Participating in the uprising were the Fourth Army Training Corps of the National Revolutionary Army, the First Guard Corps, seven regiments of Guangzhou Workers' Red Guards and two death squads, with about 6,000 people. After 18 hours of fierce fighting, Guangzhou City was successfully occupied. On the morning of the same day, the Soviet government announced its establishment. After three days of bloody fighting, the Guangzhou Rebel Army withdrew from Guangzhou.

After the failure of the Guangzhou uprising, the central government decided to send Ruan Xiaoxian and Gao to study in the Soviet Union. However, due to the needs of the domestic revolutionary struggle, Gao, as a Commissioner of the Central Committee (the Central Executive Committee), once again went to Jiangxi as the Minister of Women's Department of the Provincial Party Committee.

Gao was sent to Jiangxi again because the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee was repeatedly destroyed, especially the underground party organization in Jiujiang area suffered heavy losses and was once paralyzed. I went to work as soon as I arrived in Jiangxi as a freshman. Guerrilla struggles and revolutionary activities were carried out in areas hundreds of miles east with Minshan as the center, reaching Poyang Lake Mouth and Wuning Mufu Mountain in the west, Huangmei County in Hubei Province in the north and Yunju Mountain in Yongxiu in the south, thus forming a five-county base area with Minshan as the center.
