2. Shanghai Lawyer fee standards

1. Piece-rate fees

(1) Providing legal consultation, representing appeals, accusations, and applying for bail pending trial during the investigation stage: 1,500-10,000 yuan/case;

(2) Review and prosecution stage: 2,000-10,000 yuan/case;

(3) First instance stage: 3,000-30,000 yuan/case.

Those who represent criminal private prosecution cases or serve as victims’ representatives will receive reduced fees according to the above standards.

2. Hourly charging

The hourly charging standard for representing criminal, civil, administrative litigation cases and state compensation cases, as well as representing appeals in various litigation cases is 200-3,000 yuan/hour. .

3. Charge Description

(1) The criminal suspect or defendant in a criminal case is involved in several charges or criminal facts at the same time, and they can be charged separately according to the charges or criminal facts involved. Piece rate.

(2) The civil litigation part of criminal incidental civil litigation cases shall be charged according to the standards for civil litigation cases.

(3) Representing appeals in various litigation cases shall be based on the first-instance charging standards.

(4) For major, difficult, and complex litigation cases, upon agreement between the law firm and the client, the fee can be negotiated and determined within five times the prescribed standard. The identification standards and related measures for major, difficult, and complex cases shall be separately formulated by the Municipal Lawyers Association and reported to the Municipal Pricing Department and the Municipal Judicial Administration Department for filing.

(5) The aforementioned charging standards, unless otherwise specified, refer to the charging standards at the first instance stage of litigation cases. Those who solely represent cases of second instance, death penalty review, retrial, and execution shall be charged according to the first-instance fee standard. If you have acted as an agent in the previous stage, the fee will be reduced by half from the next stage.

3. Beijing Lawyer Fee Standards

Beijing Lawyer Fee Standards (Government Guided Prices):

2. In the review and prosecution stage, the fee for each case is 2,000-10,000 yuan.

(2) Lawyer service fees will be charged for second instance, death penalty review, retrial, appeal cases and criminal private prosecution cases according to the charging standards at the first instance stage.

(3) If a law firm represents a case in multiple stages, its fees will be reduced starting from the second stage.

(4) If the victim files a criminal incidental civil litigation case, the lawyer service fee shall be charged according to the charging standards for civil litigation cases (see the "Beijing Lawyer Litigation Agency Service Fees Government Guided Price Standards (Trial)" on this site) .

IV. Shenyang Lawyer Fee Standards

(1) General Case Lawyer Service Fees

For criminal cases where the court of first instance is a grassroots court and the case is not major or complex Cases, our lawyer's charging standards are as follows:

(2) Lawyer service fees for major and complex cases

For cases where the court of first instance is the Intermediate People’s Court or the For grass-roots courts, if the case is serious and complex, the following scope shall be determined through negotiation with the client:

1. Investigation stage: 6,000-15,000 yuan/case

2. Review and prosecution stage : 6,000-15,000 yuan/piece

(3) Travel expenses for handling cases in other places

1. (4) Charging Standards for Acting in Criminal Cases

3. Acting as the defendant’s defender or private prosecutor, or the victim’s litigation agent:

(6) Fee standards for major and complex cases

Law firms can handle group crimes and other major and complex criminal litigation cases that span a wide range of time and geographical areas. The specific charging standard shall be determined through negotiation with the client within a range not higher than 5 times of the base price.

(7) If a criminal suspect or defendant is involved in several charges or criminal facts at the same time, they may be collected separately according to the charges or criminal facts involved.

For the following cases, the law firm and the client have reached an agreement through negotiation, and the fees will be charged no more than 5 times the above fee standards. If the negotiation fails, the prescribed fee standards will be implemented:

(1 ) The legal relationship of the case is complex, and the lawyers spend significantly more time handling the case than similar cases;

(2) The case involves difficult professional issues, and the professional level requirements for lawyers are significantly higher than similar cases;

(3) Major foreign-related cases and cases with major social impact.
