Regulations of Chongqing Municipality on Police Auxiliary Personnel

In order to solve the problem of the auxiliary police's difficulty in performing their duties and give full play to their due role, on July 29th, the Regulations on Police Auxiliary Personnel of Chongqing Public Security Organs (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations) was voted by the 27th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Fifth Municipal People's Congress and will be officially implemented on September 1.

Article 2 These Regulations shall apply to the recruitment, use, guarantee and supervision of police auxiliary personnel of public security organs within the administrative area of this Municipality.

Article 3 The auxiliary police of public security organs as mentioned in these Regulations (hereinafter referred to as auxiliary police) refers to non-people police personnel recruited for the society according to the development of social security situation and the actual needs of public security work, who provide auxiliary support for the daily operation and police activities of public security organs.
