The Historical Evolution of Guiyang No.40 Middle School

1958 "Children's School of No.9 Hydropower Bureau" started operation. At the peak, there are 7 primary and secondary schools, which are located in Dongfeng Hydropower Station in qianxi county, Nanpanjiang tianshengqiao hydropower station in Anlong County, Southwest Guizhou Province, and Pingqiao in Wudang District, Guiyang City. In 2009, the living bases of Guiyang and Shangpo Jiushui Power Bureau were completed, and the "Jiushui Power Bureau Children's School" was concentrated in Guiyang.

On June 5438+ 10, 2005, the State Council issued the relevant policy of "divesting enterprises to run social functions". From March 65438 to May 2006, No.9 Hydropower Bureau signed an agreement with Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee. In August 2006, "Children's School of No.9 Hydropower Bureau" was officially handed over to "Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone" and temporarily renamed as "Third Experimental School of High-tech Zone". In February 2007, with the approval of Guiyang Organizing Committee, the school was officially renamed as "Guiyang No.40 Middle School". According to the adjustment of urban zoning in Guiyang, in June 5438+February, 2007, Yunyan District People's Government signed a school transfer agreement with the High-tech Zone Management Committee, and Guiyang No.40 Middle School was officially transferred from the High-tech Zone to Yunyan District for management, becoming a member of Yunyan District's educational family.

After the school was handed over to the local authorities, with the care and support of the higher education authorities, it purchased relatively complete educational and teaching facilities and equipment, which laid a solid foundation for the development of the school.
