Course of bovine artificial insemination technology

The process of bovine artificial insemination technology is as follows:

1. Before semen collection, clean the semen collection tube, which can be cleaned with normal saline, distilled water and 75% alcohol, and then put a rubber sleeve on the semen collection tube and clean it for more than three times.

2. When collecting sperm, heat the sperm collecting tube to about 38℃, then fix the cow in estrus in the cowshed, and hold the sperm collector with your hands when the bull climbs the hill.

3. After collecting sperm, observe the activity of sperm. Those with good activity can be diluted with distilled water and then frozen and sealed in a test tube.

4. Take out the sealed test-tube sperm, thaw it slowly in warm water at 40℃, and then examine it under a microscope. If there is no problem, insemination can be performed.
