Shenzhen New Regulations for Electric Bicycles 2022

The latest regulations on electric vehicle driving restrictions in Shenzhen in 2022

1. Prohibited driving time and road scope

From January 1, 2022 to December 2022 On the 31st, from 0:00 to 24:00 every day, electric bicycles are prohibited from driving on the following roads:

(1) Highways and expressways.

1. Expressways: S3 Guangshen Expressway along the Yangtze River, G4 Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway, G15 Jihe Expressway, S33 Nanguang Expressway, S31 Longda Expressway, G94 Meiguan Expressway, S29 Qingping Expressway (including Yuping Avenue) ), G25 Yanpai Expressway, S28 Shuiguan Expressway, G0422 Wushen Expressway, S30 Huishen Coastal Expressway, G15 Shenshan Expressway, G25 Changshen Expressway, S86 Shenzhen Outer Ring Expressway.

2. Expressway: Yanlong Avenue, Danping Expressway, Longlan Avenue, Beihuan Avenue, Nigang Road, Buxin Road, Nanping Expressway, Fulong Road, Xiangmihu Road, Airport South Road, Binhai Avenue, Binhe Avenue, Yanhe North Road, Yanhe South Road, Pingyan Channel.

(2) Tunnels, viaducts, and overpasses (including ramps) without independent non-motorized lanes.

(3) Road sections and areas where driving is prohibited in each district.

1. Futian District.

(1) Road section.

Shennan Avenue (Xinzhou Road-Huanggang Road), Shennan Middle Road (Huanggang Road-Hongling Road), Fuzhong Road, Fuzhong 3rd Road, Xinzhou Road (Lianhua Road-Binhe Avenue) ), Yitian Road (Hongli Road-Binhe Avenue), Jintian Road (Hongli Road-Binhe Avenue), Caitian Road, Huanggang Road, Meiguan Road.

(2) Area.

①Futian Port Area (all areas south of Yuheng Road (inclusive));

②Huanggang Port Area (Huanggang Road (inclusive)-Yucong Village Second Channel (not included) (inclusive) - Futian South Road (inclusive) - Baihe Road (inclusive) enclosed area).

2. Luohu District.

(1) Road section.

Sakagin Passage.

(2) Area.

①Luohu Port Area (enclosed area of ??Heping Road (not included)-Guangzhou Road (not included)-Jianshe Road (not included)-Chunfeng Road (not included));

②Wenjindu Port Area (area enclosed by Shennan Avenue (exclusive) - Dongmen South Road (exclusive) - Yanhe South Road (inclusive) - Wenjindu Road (exclusive) - Jinlian 2nd Road (exclusive));

③Liantang Port Area (all areas south of Luosha Road (excluding) and east of Yanfang Road (excluding)).

3. Yantian District.

(1) Road section.

Linhai Road, Yunshen Road, Enshang Highway, Panshan Highway, Beishan Road (Huiyan Road-Yongan Road), Huiyan Road, Yansan Road, Yanmei Road, Shenkui Road (Yantian Section) ).

(2) Area.

Sha Tau Kok Port Area (area enclosed by Shashen Road (excluding) - Shahe Road (excluding) - Tianxin West Road (excluding)).

4. Nanshan District.

(1) Road section.

Xinghai Avenue, Gangwan Avenue, Moon Bay Avenue, Keyuan North Road (Beihuan Avenue-Shennan Avenue), Keyuan South Road (Shennan Avenue-Binhai Avenue), Guimiao Road.

(2) Area.

①Shenzhen Bay Port Area (Dongbin Road (not included)-Keyuan Avenue (not included)-Zhongxin Road (not included)-Wanghai Road (not included)-Shahe West Road (not included) Enclosed area);

② Western Port Area (Mawan Avenue (inclusive) - Youbaotai Road (inclusive) - Chiwan 2nd Road (exclusive) - Chiwan 5th Road (inclusive) - Chiwan All areas south of Wanliu Road (excluding)-Xinghai Avenue (inclusive)-Gangwan Avenue (inclusive)).

5. Baoan District.

(1) Road section.

National Highway 107 (excluding service road sections with non-motorized lanes), Liuxian 2nd Road, Liuxian 3rd Road, Qianjin 1st Road, Jingang Avenue, Baoshi Highway (excluding those with non-motorized lanes) Service road section), Fuzhou Avenue (Fufeng Road-Zhoushi Road), Shiyan Outer Ring Road, Huangpu Road, South Ring Road (Baoan Avenue-Jincheng Road), Jincheng Road, Furong Road, Songgang Avenue, Songfu Avenue (the section east of Bao'an Avenue).

(2) Area.

① Airport area: Airport Road, Pilot Viaduct (including departure platform), Pilot Road 1, Pilot Road 2, Pilot Road 3, Pilot Road 4, Pilot Road 5, Pilot Road 6, Pilot Road 7, Pilot Road Eighth Road, Airport One Road, Airport Two Road, Airport Three Road, Airport Five Road, Airport Sixth Road, Airport Seventh Road, Airport Eighth Road, Airport Nine Road, Baoyuan Road (Airport Section), New Port Wharf Avenue;

②International Convention and Exhibition Center area (area enclosed by Nanhuan Road (inclusive) - Binjiang Avenue (inclusive) - Fuyuan 2nd Road (inclusive) - Chongqing Road (inclusive)).

6. Bright area.

Zhou Shiyu Branch Line, Dongchang Road (Changzhen Road-Yukang Huating Intersection), Minglang Road (Tourist Road-Hechajian Bridge), Songfu Avenue.

7. Longgang District.

Huiyan Road (Anliang Road-Hengyan Highway), Banli Avenue (Banlan Avenue-Ganli Road), Hongmian Road (Hexin Road-Aoer Road), Shahe Road (Baoer Road) Shayi Road - Gaowu Road), Longfei Avenue (Longxiang Avenue - Qingchun Road), Longgang Avenue (excluding the service road section with non-motorized lanes), Shenshan Road (Longgang section, excluding the section with non-motorized lanes) service road section).

8. Longhua District.

(1) Road section.

Meiguan Road, Xinqu Avenue (Minfeng Road-Minbao Road), Banlan Avenue, Bulong Highway (Huaxing Road-Huahui Road), Huahui Road (Huaning Road-Tongsheng Industrial Park Section), Wuhe Avenue (Huanguan South Road-Jinxiu Science and Technology Park Section), Longhua Avenue (Guanlan Park Road-Buxin Road), Minglang Road (Hechajian Bridge-Guanguang Road).

(2) Area.

Shenzhen North Railway Station Area (area enclosed by Liuxian Avenue (inclusive) - Zhiyuan Middle Road (inclusive) - Yulong Road (inclusive) - Mintang Road (inclusive)).

9. Pingshan District.

Pingshan Avenue (Shakeng 2nd Road-Tangkeng Road), Danzi West Road (Shenshan Road-Zhanqian Road), Luzi Avenue, Shenshan Road (Pingshan Section), excluding non-stop roads that have been set up service road section of the motorway).

10. Dapeng New District.

Pingxi Road (Kuixin South Road-Diefu Interchange), Shenkui Road (Beizaijiao-Xiping South Road), Kuiba Road.

2. Electric bicycles that have not been registered by the Municipal Public Security Bureau Traffic Police Station are not allowed to be driven on the road!

3. Other explanations

(1) The highways and expressways that prohibit the use of electric bicycles in Article 1 of this notice do not include expressway service roads with non-motorized lanes.

(2) Electric bicycles used by the people's livelihood service industry that have been registered and have special number plates for the people's livelihood industry are not subject to the restrictions on prohibited road sections and areas in each district in Article 1 of this notice, but are prohibited from riding on highways and expressways. Roads, tunnels without independent non-motorized lanes, viaducts, overpasses (including ramps) and prohibited areas.

Note: This regulation will be implemented from January 1, 2022 and will be valid for one year.
