In which district will the Hangzhou Asian Games be held?

The 2022 Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou Olympic Sports Expo City. Hangzhou Olympic Sports Expo City is located in the Qianjiang Century City area on the south bank of the Qiantang River in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It spans Xiaoshan District and Binjiang District with Qijia River as the boundary, and faces Qianjiang New City on the north bank of the Qiantang River across the river. The total planned area is as high as 583.89 hectares, of which the core area is 154.37 hectares and the radiation area is 429.52 hectares.

The core area has arranged 12 projects, namely the main stadium, sports swimming pool, international expo center, comprehensive training hall, Qijia ship lock and embankment reinforcement project, Qijia River regulation (including cross River Bridge), Wentao Road (Binjiang 1st Road), riverside development projects, tunnels under Qianjiang 2nd Road, twin towers, subway Olympic Sports Station superstructure properties, subway Expo Station superstructure properties, etc. The total investment in the above projects is approximately 27.18 billion yuan.

The 19th Asian Games

The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China from September 10 to 25, 2022. The Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games is based on "China's New Era·Hangzhou New Asian Games". Positioning, "Chinese characteristics, Zhejiang style, Hangzhou charm, and excitement" as the goal, adhering to the "green, smart, frugal, civilized" conference concept, and adhering to the "focusing on Hangzhou and enjoying the whole province" competition in principle.
