For the act of disturbing public order by falsely reporting or falsely reporting alarm information, the punishment may be: detention for more than five days and less than ten days, and a fine of less than 500 yuan. If the punishment is relatively light, he shall be detained for not more than five days or fined not more than five hundred yuan. The public security organ is a serious place, so if individual people are found to report false cases, it will have an impact on the work of the public security organ and will also be punished by the public security organ. False alarm obviously constitutes a violation of administrative safety and should be given certain administrative punishment. If a false alarm has caused a bad social impact and affected the handling of cases by public security organs, relevant criminal responsibilities should also be investigated.

Legal basis: Article 291 of the Criminal Law stipulates that whoever fabricates and intentionally disseminates false terrorist information, throws false explosive, toxic, radioactive and infectious disease pathogens, or fabricates terrorist information such as explosion threat, biochemical threat and radiation threat, or knowingly disseminates fabricated terrorist information, thus seriously disrupting social order, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years, criminal detention or public surveillance; If serious consequences are caused, they shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than five years.
