Handling materials

1. Take a recent bareheaded photo and fill in the complete Application Form for China Citizens Going Abroad on Business.

2. Resident identity card and residence booklet and their copies. When collecting, redeeming or replacing resident identity cards, you can submit temporary resident identity cards and household registration books and their copies.

3. Citizens under the age of 16 should be accompanied by their guardians, and submit their opinions on leaving the country, resident identity cards or household registration books, passports and photocopies.

4. State functionaries shall, in accordance with relevant regulations and personnel management authority, submit the certificate that their work units or superior competent units have approved to leave the country.

5. Other materials required by the exit-entry administration of the public security organ of the provincial local people's government after approval by the exit-entry administration of the Ministry of Public Security.

6. Original and photocopy of ordinary passport.

7. The application for ordinary passports by servicemen shall be accepted by the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level where their troops are located. The accepting institution shall require it to submit the materials in Item (1), my identity certificate, and the certificate of consent to leave the country issued by my work unit or the superior competent unit in accordance with the personnel management authority.

Matters needing attention

3.
