Account registration

Wechat recommends using mobile phone number to register, and supports mobile phone numbers in more than 100 countries. Wechat can't log in directly through QQ number or register through email account.

The first time you log in with QQ number, you can't log in. You can only log in by registering and binding QQ number with your mobile phone. Wechat will ask you to set a micro signal and nickname. Micro-signal is the unique identification number of users in WeChat, which must be greater than or equal to six digits, and can be modified once after successful registration. Nicknames are aliases for micro-signals, which can be changed many times.

Password retrieval

Retrieve by mobile phone number: You can retrieve the password of WeChat account registered or bound by mobile phone number through mobile phone. Click "Forgot Password" = "Retrieve Password by Mobile Phone Number =" on the login page of WeChat software, and enter the registered mobile phone number. The system will send the SMS verification code to the mobile phone, open the address link in the SMS (or open it on the computer), and enter the verification code to reset the password.

Mail retrieval: WeChat accounts registered or bound by mail and verified by mail can retrieve passwords by mail.
