Can I cancel my account by SMS or customer service?

1. Post-paid users of Guangdong Unicom can cancel their accounts through their own business halls, and 4G users can also cancel their accounts through the mobile phone business halls (at present, the system is upgraded, and the business recovery time is to be determined). Prepaid packages have a life cycle. If you don't want to continue using it, you don't have to recharge it. We can't close the account directly through SMS or customer service for the time being.

2. If you need to cancel your account, you can go to Unicom's own business hall where the number belongs. The required information is as follows:

(1) Individual user: the owner himself shows the original valid ID card;

(2) Unit users: the unit certificate, a copy of the business license stamped with the official seal, and the valid identity certificate of the manager must be presented;

(3) account cancellation requires that the user is not within the agreement period;

(4) If you cancel your account, you need to pay off the debt. After the account is officially closed, the prepaid phone charges can be refunded, but the advance payment, authorization payment and one-card phone charges cannot be refunded, unless the ownership of Unicom has special instructions, which shall be subject to the actual handling of the business hall.

3. In order to protect the security and rights of your personal information, it is recommended that you cancel the registration and binding relationship of your mobile phone number on third-party platforms such as Tencent, Taobao, Alipay, Bank and Securities before closing your account, otherwise it may cause losses to your privacy and personal property.
