Why does my mobile phone only display the number and not the name when it receives a text message?

I have encountered two possibilities: one is that two different names are stored in the same number. Second, software conflicts. My Nokia N70 has a lot of software installed. After installing several new softwares, a similar problem appeared, and I couldn't find out which software it was. I simply uninstalled all the newly installed software, and the problem was solved.
