Why can the ringtone of my Google G1 only be the default original ringtone? Can I set MP3 songs as ringtones?

Follow the following steps: 1. Create a media folder in the SD root directory

2: Create an audio folder under the media folder

3 : Create notifications folder (for text message ringtones), alarms folder (for alarm clock ringtones), ringtones (for incoming call tones), and ui (for UI sounds) under the audio folder. It doesn’t matter whether you create this folder or not. It may not be used. (top)

4: Then put your ringtones into the category, so that your ringtones will appear in your text message ringtones and incoming call ringtones. Just choose it.
