How to clear chat history on WeChat in both directions

WeChat does not support two-way clearing of chat history. It can only delete friends and clear chat history in one direction. If you don’t want the other party to find it, you can directly delete the other party or block the other party.

The steps for one-way deletion of chat history on WeChat are as follows:

Tools: Huawei P40, EMUI 11.0.0, WeChat 8.0.1.

1. Click to open WeChat.

2. Select the chat record you want to delete, click the three dots in the upper right corner to enter the chat details interface.

3. Click to clear the chat history.
