Dad's speech at his daughter's tenth birthday party

Distinguished guests, friends and relatives,

Today is my daughter's tenth birthday. I am glad to have so many friends and relatives to join us. At this point, on behalf of our whole family, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you for coming.

Ten years old is a wonderful age. From a cry in those days to a lively and lovely little princess today. Ten years of dribs and drabs are still fresh in my memory. Daughter can sit, crawl, call mom and dad, and walk-it seems like yesterday. When you were two years old and one month old, you went to kindergarten with a small schoolbag. "You go to school at such a young age and never cry." The teacher praised you. Five years old, grade one in primary school. I was the first in my class in the mid-term exam, and all my classmates admired you. Later, we increased your reading, reciting the Analects of Confucius, reading idiom stories, up and down for five thousand years, and so on. You also cooperate well, and your parents appreciate you! A little older, learn to play the piano, learn to dance, and be a children's host. How confident you are, how fulfilling your childhood will be. Last year's final exam, you were lucky to be the first in your class. Good luck has been with you.

Success belongs to the past. We are glad to see you walk through the first decade of your life in a down-to-earth manner. With everyone's care, you are about to start the second decade of your life. We know that these ten years will be more important, more difficult and more demanding, but we believe that you will surpass yourself. We firmly believe that in the next 20, 30, 40 or even longer years, you will be more sensible and move forward.

In the season of your tenth birthday, your parents will never forget to wish you good health and academic progress. May you always be beautiful and happy; I wish you success and peace in your future life. I wish you a lifetime of sunshine!
