How to print SMS?

There are some ways for you to print SMS without using the wireless network of the operator and paying for it. However, because the information on mobile phones and PDA is often not very valuable, not many people are willing to print it out, so this scheme is not progressing fast at present, and it is not convenient for ordinary users to use. In fact, the mobility of mobile phones and PDA makes printing unnecessary, because the contents on them are as mobile as mobile phones.

However, if necessary, a short-range RF connection can be established between the mobile device and the printer using Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth SIG has established two main Bluetooth printing modes. These two modes are Hard Copy Cable Replacement (HCRP) and Basic Print Profile (BPP). The HCRP method simulates the parallel port or USB connection of a computer. The data is sent to the printer intact, and the page output is exactly the same as that displayed on the device. However, it needs to install a specific printer driver on the device. Because this is not easy to do on mobile phones, HCRP is more suitable for notebook computers. The second mode, BPP, includes a simple push transmission method, so installing drivers on mobile devices can be used for a series of Bluetooth printers.

All this is based on the user's mobile phone and the printer with Bluetooth function. At present, mobile phones with Bluetooth function only account for 14% of the total mobile phones sold in the world, and there are even fewer printers with Bluetooth function, because Wi-Fi printers occupy the mainstream of the market. However, some models and companies provide a series of wireless print servers and print adapters (such as AXS, Buffalo Technology, D-Link, Linksys, Troy Wireless). These products provide wireless printing solutions by adding functions to compatible printers.
