How big is Kaiping City?

Kaiping city has a history of more than 400 years, which has nothing to do with Kaiping year number. A.D. 1649 (three years in Li Yong of Nanming and eight years in Shunzhi of Qing Dynasty): The Ritual Department of Nanming approved the establishment of Kaiping County and appointed wu shichang as the magistrate. Jurisdiction is included in Xinhui, Enping and Xinxing, including Dengming Ferry, Gubodu, Pingkang Ferry, Dexing Ferry, Shuangqiao Ferry and Changjiang Ferry.

A.D. 1573 (the first year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty): Xiejiacangbu village in the northeast of Enping, named Kaipingtun, became the later county seat. Gregorian calendar 1643 (in the 16th year of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty): Shen Youlong, governor of Guangdong Province, wrote to the imperial court with the title of building Kaiping County. The Ministry approved the establishment of Kaiping County. Take the original administrative area of Kaiping County as the administrative area of Kaiping City, without increasing the organization and establishment.
