Samsung tablet consumes too much power. Is the battery dead?

If your Samsung tablet PC has short standby time and high power consumption, we recommend that you try the following actions to reduce battery power consumption:

1. When the device is not in use, you can switch to sleep mode by pressing the power button.

2. Close unnecessary applications through the task manager (often press and hold the HOME button for two seconds).

3. Turn off Bluetooth, location, wireless, push notification and other settings to extend the standby time without affecting the use.

4. Cancel the automatic synchronization function of the application.

5. Reduce the backlight time.

6. Turn down the brightness of the monitor.
