Nanhui Martyrs Cemetery was built in 1960, covering an area of 1424 1 m2, of which the green area is 9540 m2. Walking into the cemetery gate, crossing the bridge is a memorial square that can accommodate nearly a thousand people. At the northern end of the square stands a 1 1 meter-high memorial tower engraved with the six characters "Long live the martyrs". On both sides of the square are symmetrical flower green spaces, and on the north side of the tower is the tomb of the martyrs covering an area of about two acres, which gives people a solemn and quiet feeling against the backdrop of towering cypresses on both sides.
