Volunteers who wish to donate organs after death need to voluntarily apply for registration of human organ donation in writing, and their spouses, adult children, parents and other immediate family members all agree and sign.

After the registered volunteers died of accidents or diseases, their families got in touch with the Red Cross, and experts from the organ harvesting organization of the Red Cross evaluated the volunteers' remains and organs. If the donated organ is suitable for transplantation, an organ harvesting operation will be performed.

The organ or tissue concerned has good function, is not infected with AIDS or other serious infectious diseases, and has no cancer (except primary brain tumor), and is generally suitable for organ donation. In order to ensure the prognosis after organ transplantation, in principle, the age of organ donation volunteers should be under 65.

8. Give difficult assistance to poor donor families in accordance with relevant regulations.

Legal basis:

"Regulations on Human Organ Transplantation" Article 11 A medical institution engaged in human organ transplantation shall, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations on the Administration of Medical Institutions, apply to the competent health department of the local people's government of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government for registration of human organ transplantation.

Medical institutions engaged in human organ transplantation shall meet the following conditions:

(1) Having medical practitioners and other medical personnel suitable for human organ transplantation;

(2) Having the necessary equipment and facilities for human organ transplantation;

(3) There is a Committee on Clinical Application and Ethics of Human Organ Transplantation Technology composed of experts in medicine, law and ethics, and the number of medical experts engaged in human organ transplantation in the Committee does not exceed1/4 of the members;

(4) Having a sound management system for monitoring the quality of human organ transplantation.
