Introduction to PLL

Pretty Little Liars was adapted from the novel of the same name, and the eighth novel was released on the same day as the TV series was released. Some people say this story is a girl's version of Desperate Housewives, while others say it is another kind of Gossip Girl. In any case, it must be interesting for a novel to be published in one breath.
