If you don't agree, then you can't use this APP. There is only one reading permission in it, which I think is necessary.

Machine identification code

If you have downloaded the mobile banking APP (or you can try to download one now), some banks (such as China Agricultural Bank) only need to read the identification code of your machine, and the rest of the permissions are unnecessary (some banks will have one more location information). It is appropriate to read the machine identification code, because the bank should prevent your account from logging in on different mobile phones. For example, if you log in on one mobile phone for a long time, once you switch to another mobile phone, the identification code will be different, and banks will generally require verification information, so reading the identification code is a protective measure for users, and the location information can barely be used (for example, logging in on A for a long time will change the address of the other party frequently in a short time). So I think these two permissions can be released.

Residual information

Read address books, photos, short messages, cameras, multimedia information, etc. It seems to me to be hooliganism. Can't you use it normally without looking at the user address book APP? You can't use it normally without looking at the photos? Obviously not, the reason for reading this information is to spy on the user's portrait and promote it.

I won't say much about the rest after reading the address book. You will find that every time you use an APP, you will prompt so-and-so friends to use this APP, and so on. This is the consequence of reading the address book, in order to make you close to each other and increase the stickiness of this APP (there are so many junk phones now, maybe this relationship also exists).

If I look at photos, I don't know the specific function, but an intuitive feeling is that if I collect several photos of the same type in a certain period of time, various apps will immediately recommend related products to me, such as milk powder and diapers, so I can't put photos of important information on my mobile phone.

As for short messages, I think this is the most outrageous. I can understand reading multimedia information (such as WeChat, QQ chat information or Baidu search information). After all, we can know what we are looking for from our chat or search, and then recommend related products. But what is the message? Does anyone still chat by SMS now? At present, in addition to spam messages, bank transfers and remittances basically require SMS verification code or personal account change information. If you look at the personal account change information, the best you can do is to know whether you are short of money at present and whether to recommend various online loans to you. If you read the SMS verification code, the consequences are really unpredictable, so it is unknown and unclear. Don't download the authorized APP at will.
