Conceptually, the overall design of the square highlights the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Jean Temple and Tang Wenhua, and combines traditional and modern elements. There are four stone archways in the North Square, which are not only the standard primer of the square landscape, but also the signboard and landscape of the North Square. The four archways are paved with white marble, forming a three-door style with middle height and low side, showing the characteristics of balance, stability, simplicity and atmosphere. The inscription on the archway is written in the font advocated by the Tang Dynasty, and the large plaque in the middle is written in Yan Zhenqing regular script, which is magnificent; The inscriptions on the upper and lower plaques on both sides are written in the running script of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, elegant and vivid. The flourishing age of the Tang Dynasty brought unprecedented prosperity and progress to all walks of life. This sculpture specially selected eight elite figures from the fields of poetry, calligraphy, tea ceremony and medicine, and presented them to people with realistic sculpture techniques.

There are many small and meticulous landscapes around the fountain, such as the bronze sculpture of the scroll of the Tang Dynasty at the entrance of the North Square, the ten thousand Buddha lighthouse and the cultural column of the Tang Dynasty, the sculptures of the elite figures of the Tang Dynasty next to it, the landscape relief laid on the ground, the "poems, books and paintings" sculptures with China artistic characteristics, and even the famous poems are engraved on the buildings such as light boxes and stone pillars. Xi Big Wild Goose Pagoda North Square is a large musical fountain square with a width of 218m from east to west and a length of 346m from north to south. It is the largest fountain square in China and even in Asia.
