The fire brigade of Dali Airport carried out a major investigation of fire hazards between the computer room and UPS equipment.

Affected by epidemic prevention and control, resumption of work and production, seasonal disasters, high temperature and rainy weather and other factors, fire hazards have increased in various places, and the fire safety situation has become increasingly severe. In order to do a good job in fire safety at Dali Airport and resolutely curb fire accidents, the fire brigade organized a fire hazard investigation on August 5, 2020 according to the summer characteristics and the actual situation of the airport.

On the same day, the fire brigade actively contacted relevant departments to inspect the fire-fighting facilities and equipment such as the computer room and UPS computer room in the airport area one by one. During the investigation, it was found that there was a big fire hazard in the situation of connecting wires and stacking sundries in the computer room, and the situation of stacking sundries in the lithium battery cabinet was rectified on the spot. For the hidden dangers that cannot be rectified on site, the fire brigade will issue a rectification notice, specify the rectification time limit and responsible person, and urge the responsible units to seriously implement the rectification.

After this investigation, all airport departments and resident units fully realized the seriousness of the fire safety situation and actively cooperated with the fire brigade to carry out self-inspection. The fire brigade will strengthen its responsibilities, strengthen overall coordination and supervision, increase the frequency of daily inspections and publicity, improve the fire safety awareness of employees, and standardize electricity facilities, thus curbing the occurrence of fire accidents.
