How to use the message reminder function of Honor Band 5?

Honor Band 5 supports the message reminder function, which can display 10 messages. Newly received messages will overwrite the original messages, and up to 2 screens of message content can be displayed, which can be viewed by sliding the screen.

In order to better use the message reminder function, please perform the following operations:

1. Please upgrade the bracelet and Huawei Sports Health App to the latest version.

2. Set Huawei Sports Health App as a protected background application on your phone and keep Huawei Sports Health App running in the background.

3. Android users: Please enter the notification management page on the bracelet details page in the Huawei Sports and Health App, turn on the notification switch, and turn on the sub-switch of the application you need to push messages.

iOS users: Please turn on the message reminder switch on the bracelet details page in the Huawei Sports and Health App, and set it in the phone system; in notifications, turn on the message notification switch on the phone side, and the reminder mode is " The "Show in history" switch is selected to be in the "on" state.

4. If the Wear Push Only switch is turned on, please make sure the bracelet is being worn.

5. Set up the settings on your phone to ensure that messages can be pushed to the status bar of your phone.

Take an EMUI 8.1.0 mobile phone as an example: Select Settings > Applications and Notifications > Notification Management, click on the application you need to notify, and set it to allow notifications.

Note:

The message reminder function can only push the information pushed to the status bar of the mobile phone to the bracelet.

Please keep the bracelet and mobile phone connected properly when using it.

When the phone is in the chat interface, messages will not be pushed to the bracelet. For example, if you are using your mobile phone to chat on WeChat, the WeChat information will not be pushed to the bracelet.

Enabling the message reminder function will increase the battery consumption of the bracelet.
