How to migrate SMS to a new iPhone?

IPhone (including ipad and ipod) to IPhone.

1. Use iCloud.

First back up the current device in iCloud, and then transfer the backup information to the new device. The specific steps are as follows:

Connect the old device to the Internet through WiFi.

In versions above iOS 8, tap settings > iCloud > backup; In versions before iOS 7, click settings > icloud >; "storage and backup".

Make sure iCloud cloud backup is turned on.

Click "Back Up Now" and stay connected to WiFi.

Click settings > icloud > Storage space > manage storage space to ensure that the backup has ended, and prompt for the correct date and file size.

Transfer SIM card (calling card)

If you have a new SIM card, please insert it into the new device.

If the new device uses the same type of card as the current device, please transfer the SIM card to the new device.

Transfer iCloud backups to a new device.

Turn on your new equipment. The device will display the "Hello" screen. If you have finished setting up the new device, please clear the data on the device: click settings >. General ">" Restore ">" Erase all contents and settings ". Please note that this operation will erase all data currently stored on the device. After erasing, the device will restart, and then you will see "Hello".

Slide "Hello" from left to right and follow the steps until you see the WiFi prompt.

Select a WiFi network and connect successfully.

When you see the "Applications and Data" screen, please choose to restore from iClould cloud backup here.

Enter your Apple ID and password.

Select the backup file. Each backup has a date and size, and the transmission will start immediately after selecting the correct backup. If you purchased iTunes or App Store content with multiple IDs, you will be asked to log in with each Apple ID. If you forget your password, you can choose not to have an Apple ID or forget your password to skip this step.

Keep the WIFI connection and wait for the process to complete. If you disconnect WIFI before completion, the transmission will be suspended until you reconnect.

Restoring the backup may take some time, depending on the backup size and network speed.

Use iTunes

After setting up iTunes, install the SIM card according to the previous tutorial, and then start backing it up to the new device through the "Applications and Data" section of iTunes.
