How to collect coins of 1, 2, 5?

At present, many collectors collect all kinds of metal coins, such as gold, silver, nickel-copper alloy, copper, steel core nickel, copper-zinc alloy, copper and so on. They always feel that many coins have been issued for a long time and have been circulated in the market. Their surfaces have been corroded to varying degrees and all kinds of dirt and germs have gathered. Even coins that don't flow through will change color and oxidize, which greatly reduces the collection and ornamental value. When the surface of the coin is oxidized, first soak the darker, darker and dirtier coins in boiling water, then squeeze some toothpaste on the surface of the coin, and then scrub it with a soft cloth for several times.

If the products are of different quality and have been released for a long time, and the surface of coins has been oxidized and rusted, you can soak coins (except aluminum coins) in vinegar for a few minutes, take them out, wash them with clear water, and rub them with a coin brush (made of glass fiber) several times, or you can remove impurities and dirt on their surfaces.

For all-quality and modern coins, there is only slight oxidation, dust, sweat stains, fingerprints and so on on the surface of coins. Use an eraser several times and the surface will be as bright as new.

If the surface of the coin has been oxidized and the dirt is serious, you can rub it with a coin brush to remove the dirt and oxide layer and restore the original appearance.

None of the above methods can remove coins with serious dirt and unclear patterns. You can soak it in dilute hydrochloric acid for a few minutes, then soak it in alkali for a few minutes, then wash it with clear water, and finally brush it with a coin for several times.

Put some sewing machine oil on the coins treated in the above way. After cleaning with a dry cloth, your collection will be completely new if you put it into the book in different categories.
