The "Regulations on Prohibiting Illegal Banquet and Drinking" is a regulation issued by the Central Military Commission. At the end of September, 20 17, the central military commission issued the "regulations on prohibiting illegal banquets and drinking" to the whole army and the armed police force, which came into effect at the end of September, 20 17.

Article 1 It is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol during working hours and working days;

Article 2 It is forbidden to drink alcohol when on duty or on standby;

Article 3 During the implementation of major tasks such as emergency rescue and disaster relief, anti-terrorism and stability, overseas escort and security alert, entertainment and drinking are strictly prohibited;

Article 4 It is strictly forbidden to entertain and drink during meetings, training, inspection and investigation.

Fifth, it is forbidden to hold banquets and drink alcohol in activities such as organizing successful celebrations, supporting each other, visiting condolences, and receiving veteran cadres;

Article 6 It is strictly forbidden to entertain and drink in the promotion and transfer of cadres, work exchanges, retirement and resettlement, the retirement of soldiers, the employment coordination of family members, and the schooling of children.

Seventh prohibit drinking in the workplace (operating room), dormitory and internal canteen;

Eighth leading cadres are strictly forbidden to entertain each other and participate in banquets and drinking that may affect the fair execution of official duties.
