How do the police usually find people?

Legal analysis: 1. Issue a wanted order to launch a mass report: issue a wanted order to the society to launch a mass investigation;

Legal basis: Article 150 of the Criminal Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) covers the following situations:

After filing a case, the public security organ can take technical investigation measures against crimes endangering national security, terrorist activities, organized crimes of underworld nature, major drug crimes or other crimes seriously endangering society according to the needs of investigating crimes and through strict approval procedures.

2. After filing a case, the people's procuratorate may, according to the needs of criminal investigation and through strict approval procedures, take technical investigation measures for major cases of corruption and bribery and major criminal cases that seriously infringe upon citizens' personal rights by taking advantage of their powers, and submit them to the relevant authorities for execution in accordance with regulations.

3. To hunt down a criminal suspect or defendant who is wanted at large or who has been approved or decided to arrest, necessary technical investigation measures may be taken upon approval.
