Mate40pro SMS function disappears.

The mobile phone is in mute state, and the SMS prompt tone is mute.

1. Check whether the mobile phone is in mute or vibration state, set the notification volume of the mobile phone, and turn up the notification volume.

2. Check whether the SMS prompt tone is set to mute. Try to replace the built-in system ringtone. If it doesn't work, try to update the mobile phone system version.
