In the transformation of cold storage, many enterprises transform the original warehouse into cold storage. Warehouse and cold storage are different in structure, so in order to better transform the original warehouse into cold storage, what matters should be paid attention to in the process of cold storage transformation?

First, the transformation of cold storage should consider whether the original warehouse insulation structure is suitable for cold storage. The maintenance of the warehouse periphery generally adopts the structure of polystyrene double-sided color steel plate or rock wool plate. This kind of thermal insulation maintenance is not suitable for cold storage, but only suitable for cold storage environment above 15℃. If the cold storage is below 15℃, it is recommended to install polyurethane insulation board in the warehouse.

Second, the cold storage reconstruction should consider the bearing capacity of the steel structure at the top of the original warehouse. If the warehouse roof adopts the grid structure of arc tube, its load is limited and it can't bear the weight of large-area cold storage roof, so attention should be paid to it during reconstruction.

Third, the treatment of ground insulation should be considered in the reconstruction of cold storage. If the reconstructed cold storage needs to be divided into cold storage rooms with different temperatures, the heat preservation treatment at the bottom is different for different storage temperatures. When the low temperature is lower than 0℃, ventilation pipes should be embedded in the foundation to prevent the foundation from sinking and freezing due to the low bottom temperature. The bottom thermal insulation material adopts extruded board with high compressive strength for thermal insulation, plus gas and moisture proof layer, concrete layer, emery layer or epoxy resin layer. In a word, the waterproof and moisture-proof insulation layer must be done well during the transformation.
