How to set up Huawei multi-users

Huawei P9 multi-user mode sets up independent user spaces for different users on mobile phones, and the data between different users is independent, so you can safely give your favorite mobile phone to others. And multiple users can log in to the same application, and the account data of users are independent of each other and do not interfere with each other.

One or three user roles

Owner: the owner of the mobile phone. Generally, you only log in as the owner when you use it yourself. After logging in, the owner can do all the operations, add or delete other users, and authorize other users to use the call and SMS functions.

Sub-user: familiar relatives and friends can log in like this when using it. After logging in, they can use most functions, but they can't use functions that will affect the owner, such as restoring factory settings and not disturbing.

Visitor: The visitor's authority is weak. When unfamiliar friends borrow it, it is recommended to log in as a guest. After logging in, they can only do some operations, not use SMS or install unknown applications.

Second, how to manage users

1. Click Settings > Users to enter the multi-user management interface. You can add, switch and delete users and manage user authorization.

2. Add User Click Add or Add Guest, and follow the on-screen prompts to add sub-users or guest users. After adding a user, a user icon will appear in the lock screen interface. The user displayed in the lock screen interface is the currently logged-in user.

3. Switch users. Click the user you want to log in, and then click Switch User in the pop-up menu. You can also click the user icon in the lock screen interface, and then click the user you want to log in.

4. Authorize users to use telephone, information and share communication records, and authorize sub-users and visitors when logging in as the owner. Click the user to be authorized, and in the pop-up menu, click Allow calls and information to share communication records.

5. After being authorized, users can use telephone and SMS functions, and can also share call records and SMS with the host. If the owner authorizes multiple sub-users, the authorized sub-users can also share call records and text messages.

Note: Guest users cannot use the SMS function.

6. Delete the user. Click the user you want to delete, and then click Delete User in the pop-up menu. Deleting a user will also clear the user's data.
