(3) After the delay, the contractor shall submit the final detailed report to the supervision engineer within the time limit stipulated in the contract.

2. Legal basis: Article 803rd of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC).

If the Employer fails to provide raw materials, equipment, site, funds and technical data in accordance with the agreed time and requirements, the Contractor may postpone the project date and have the right to claim compensation for losses such as shutdown and slowdown.

Article 804

If the project is stopped or postponed halfway due to the employer's reasons, the employer shall take measures to make up or reduce the losses, and compensate the contractor for the losses and actual expenses caused by the stoppage, slowdown, transshipment, relocation of machinery and equipment, and backlog of materials and components.

2. How long can the construction project be extended?

Construction projects can be postponed for up to six months.

The construction unit shall start construction within three months from the date of receiving the construction permit. If the project cannot be started on schedule for some reason, it shall apply to the issuing authority for an extension; The extension is limited to two times, each time not exceeding three months. If the project has not started and has not applied for extension or exceeded the extension period, the construction permit will be automatically abolished. If the construction project under construction is suspended for some reason, the construction unit shall report to the issuing authority within one month from the date of suspension of construction, and do a good job in the maintenance and management of the construction project in accordance with the regulations.
