95 120 is a special number for national disease control telephone traffic adjustment.

In order to improve the authority and standardization of the national telephone traffic control work, ensure the accurate and timely collection of traffic control information, and provide support for epidemic risk judgment and response, the National Bureau of Disease Control and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have determined "95 120" as the national telephone traffic control special number.

95 120 national telephone streaming system was officially put into use in disease control institutions at all levels in China on June 26th, 2023. The system has the functions of unified outgoing call number, incoming call reminder, on-hook SMS, multi-terminal application, etc., which can realize full-time and multi-scene telephone diversion, effectively reduce the rejection rate and missed call rate of the diverted people, reduce the work pressure and intensity of the grassroots shunting personnel, and improve work efficiency.
