Why does Samsung s3 automatically delete short messages?

SMS is automatically deleted. I suggest you try the operation according to the following steps:

1. Information-Menu button (virtual button in the lower left corner)-Basic settings-Delete old information and uncheck it.

2. Check whether the mobile phone has downloaded the latest third-party software (SMS software, battery management, security guards and system management). It is possible that the software deleted the message itself.
